Dharma Drift is a forty-seven minute long meditative experience. Slow-moving images of water and music combine to create this contemplative, slow-moving piece in the hopes of helping one quiet the mind and provide calmness and tranquility to those who wish to drift into a more restful, peaceful state of mind.
Compositionally, the music is made up of three layered, generative modular pieces, all composed by Danny McIntyre.
"Frozen Pond" was created in a cabin in the woods, upsate NY. All sounds were created in the eurorack environment and performed live. The picture in the video is of a pond, which was set in the background from where I was working.
Nature is the best inspiration :)

Blades of Light is an ambient, meditative track designed to bring a little peace into the listeners life. All sounds were crafted in the Eurorack format, composed, and performed live. The melody was performed with a Doepfer Ribbon controller.
'Síocháin' means 'peace' in Irish Gaelic. Musically, the track is a simple drone, which develops into an ambient bed with subtle melodic embellishments.
This is the first track in a series of tracks based on the word, 'peace', translated to multiple languages. Each musical culture is explored in these modular improvisations. All sounds were created and performed live by Danny McIntyre.

Peace :)
'Rugare' means 'peace' in the Zimbabwean language of Shona. The main sounds were designed to replicate an Mbira (thumb piano). Repeating patterns develop and overlap as this polyrhythmic exploration slowly unravels over time creating a cinematic journey into mbira-like sounds, synthesis, and peaceful vibes.
Musically: polyrhythms, timbre, and the stereo image were explored greatly.
